Take that as you may -- the fact remains, their experience translates to quality finishing. The glossy finish on the white model was absolutely flawless and showed none of the typical wavey paint problems associated with lower end helmets.
More importantly, however, the helmet meets federal standard fmvss 218 requirements for both impact absorption and penetration resistance. Thus, it is safe enough to ride on public roads and places this firmly in the category of actual safety gear vs. A novelty helmet with a fake certification sticker.
