LEXIN G2P motorcycle intercom. LEXIN has found itself in a sweet spot in the intercom marketplace. The G2P is one of very few systems that deliver this type of performance in the mid-market segment. Communication to 6 riders, 40mm HD speakers that represent a serious upgrade from typical budget units, and a 20 hour talk time, all without having to pay Cardo or Sena money. There is no mesh networking capability, therefore the G2P relies upon Bluetooth pairing, however this will suffice for groups of 6 or less.

Specifications and Construction
G2P employs a Qualcomm processor with Bluetooth 5.0. The G2P allows for connectivity to a maximum of 6 riders at distances of approximately 1000 meters (approximately .62 mile) in addition to private conversations between any two riders in the group.
The Mylar HD speakers measure 40mm and are larger than those found in the prior model (36mm). They provide clearer, more powerful sound. A button microphone for full-face helmets and a boom microphone for open-face helmets come with each unit. The units themselves are sealed to an IP67 rating for moisture protection.
It is estimated that battery life will be approximately 25 hours of continuous music, 20 hours of talk time, and more than a week of standby.
A noticeable improvement in construction compared to budget intercoms is apparent. The main unit has a solid feel. The X-button is easily located regardless of whether you're wearing gloves. Four different colored face plates (red, black, blue, green) allow you to choose a face plate to coordinate with your helmet.
Sound and Microphone Quality
The 40mm Mylar speakers produce clear and strong sound. While bass exists, it does not muddle the sound. Vocal clarity remains acceptable at highway speeds. On the mic side, CVC and DSP noise canceling do a great job eliminating ambient noise.
Dual device Bluetooth enables you to maintain a connection to your smartphone for GPS and music while keeping the intercom channel open.
That the 40mm drivers are significantly louder than the 36mm drivers on the older G1 and B4FM units is notable. That difference makes a significant amount of sense at highway speeds where wind noise competes with both music and conversation. Several riders report that this is the first LEXIN unit that they do not have to turn their volume up all the way to hear other riders.
Noise cancelation performs well enough during group rides until approximately 70mph. At that point wind starts seeping through, yet voices continue to be audible to other riders. The button mic tends to isolate better than the boom for full-face helmets, while the boom provides a consistent position for open-face riders.
FM Radio works relatively well in open country areas but poorly in rural areas due to poor signal strength. Dual device Bluetooth operates smoothly, providing seamless pairing of either two smartphones or a smartphone and GPS without disconnecting. Large X-buttons make answering phone calls and switching between music functions simple even if you are wearing thick winter gloves.
Who Is This Intercom Best Suited For?
Riders looking for good group comms without premium costs are ideal candidates for this unit. Six riders cover most group rides.
Touring riders wanting reliable day-long comms will also appreciate this unit. Since there is 20 hour talk time there shouldn't be any concerns about running low on power during a trip, and since the units are IP67 rated they can withstand bad weather conditions such as rain and snow.
If you typically ride solo or as part of a pair the G2P might be more than you need, and there is a single-unit version available for 2-rider comms. However, it fits into a nice middle ground regarding price for groups ranging from 3 to 6 riders.

Best For
As previously stated, buyers include touring riders who spend entire days on their bikes. Battery life alone will justify purchasing the G2P. When used continuously, you can ride from early morning to late evening on a single charge. Additionally, fast USB-C charging gives you sufficient juice to top off your battery at a lunch stop for the remainder of the day.
While perhaps underappreciated by some users, the ability to swap-out faceplate colors to fit your helmet will likely prove useful. As well as being simply "good", the X-button is large, tactile and easy to locate with gloves on.
When comparing the G2P against other mid-range units like the Fodsports M1S Pro or similar units, the advantages of the G2P are its superior speaker quality and build quality. The 40mm speakers in particular are a huge leap forward versus what you typically receive in sub-100-dollar intercom units. Furthermore, the G2P's build is far closer to Cardo builds than those found in lower-cost brands. The disadvantages include lack of mesh networking capabilities which restricts how riders can form groups via Bluetooth pairing. Given Bluetooth pairing will certainly work for smaller groups (six or fewer), we believe this is ample for most applications given the price point of a single G2P unit is equivalent to a 2-pack from competing manufacturers.
